The seminar, conducted in the hall of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower, and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, was opened by the institute’s director, Doctor of Technical Sciences, A.A. Gulakhmadzoda. In his speech, Gulakhmadzoda emphasized the role of IWMI in the extensive study of irrigation in the fields of hydrology, food security, and the environment, as well as in addressing critical challenges. The seminar also featured presentations by the institute’s researchers, representatives of IWMI, and other state and international centers and organizations.
