Mr. Sukhrob Toir Toirzoda defended his dissertation entitled “Assessment of the Physical and Mechanical Properties of Rock Masses Surrounding High-Pressure Hydraulic Tunnels” in fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 6D074400 – Hydraulic Engineering Construction and Structures (6D074401 – Hydraulic Engineering Construction).

Both dissertations were completed at the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

The scientific supervisor of both candidates was Salomat Kanoatshoevich Davlatshoev, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

During the defense, both candidates presented the results of their scientific research and demonstrated the significance and practical value of their findings. Members of the Dissertation Council highly appreciated the quality of the research and the successful presentations of the young scholars, supporting the awarding of their respective academic degrees.

The dissertations of Shodmon Abdullo Abdullozoda and Sukhrob Toir Toirzoda were submitted in the field of Hydraulic Engineering Construction.
