The seminar was opened with welcoming remarks by the Director of the Institute, Dr. A.A. Gulakhmadzoda, who expressed his appreciation and warmly welcomed Dr. Wahba.
Dr. Mohamed A.S. Wahba delivered two presentations on the topics of “Introduction to Agricultural Drainage” and “Implementation of Drainage Systems.”
In his lecture, Professor Wahba addressed the challenges of irrigation faced by many countries around the world. He also shared proposals for improving irrigation practices, presented preliminary results and their effectiveness, and emphasized their role in enhancing food security in different countries.
At the conclusion of the seminar, an engaging discussion took place between the Institute’s researchers and Dr. Wahba, during which participants received valuable answers to their questions regarding the intricacies of irrigation.
