The conference was opened by the Director of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Gulahmadzoda Aminjon Abdujabbor. In his opening remarks, he shared his views on the development of science over the 35 years of Tajikistan’s Independence.

The Institute’s scientists then delivered presentations on scientific achievements in the fields of water resources, hydropower, and ecology over the 35 years of Tajikistan’s Independence.

At the conclusion of the conference, the Institute’s management presented certificates of honour and letters of appreciation to a number of scientists and specialists who had achieved significant scientific accomplishments in 2026.
