On 9 October 2026, Salomat Kanoatshoevich Davlatshoev, Leading Researcher at the Laboratory of Energy, Resource and Energy Conservation of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan (IWPHE) — who defended his doctoral dissertation on 25 June 2026 before the Dissertation Council of the IWPHE in the specialty 2.1 Geology, Geodesy, Hydrology, Construction and Architecture (2.1.8 Hydraulic Engineering) — was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences by decision of the Board of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dated 26 September 2026 (No. 10).

On 31 August 2026, Davlatsho Salomat Kanoat, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Leading Researcher at the Laboratory of Energy, Resource and Energy Efficiency of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, was awarded the State Prize of the Republic of Tajikistan for Scientists and Teachers in the Fields of Natural, Exact and Mathematical Sciences by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for his achievements in the field of technical sciences.

Commissioning of the Laboratory of Energy, Resources and Energy Efficiency
Today, July 6, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the declaration of 2026 as the “Year of Expanding Improvement and Construction Activities and Strengthening National Identity and National Self-Awareness,” the new modern Laboratory of Energy, Resources and Energy Efficiency was commissioned at the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan with the participation of the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Academician Khushvakhtzoda Qobiljon Khushvakht, as well as other scientists and researchers.
