Ceremony for presenting the achievements of the first phase of intergovernmental scientific and technological cooperation between China and Tajikistan
Today, December 10, at the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower, and Ecology of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, with the participation of the President of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Academician Khushvakhtzoda Kobiljon Khushvakht, representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China, and the company Hebei Sailhero Environmental Protection, a ceremony was held to present the achievements of the first phase of intergovernmental scientific and technological cooperation between China and Tajikistan.

A Working Meeting on the Groundwater Management Project Held at the Institute of Water Problems
On the 28th of October,2025 a working meeting was held at the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan with the participation of representatives from HELVETAS and the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education (the Netherlands). The discussion focused on the progress and next steps in the implementation of the project aimed at strengthening national capacities in groundwater management.

Cooperation with the Aga Khan Foundation in Tajikistan
On October 6, 2025, with the support of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and in collaboration with the Public Organization “Aga Khan Foundation in Tajikistan,” training courses on Bathymetry and Modeling began in the conference hall of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower, and Ecology.
